RULES & REGULATIONS

  • ADMISSION
  1. IAM reserves the right to reject an application without assigning any reason.
  2. Candidates for admission must possess the qualification as laid down for the course applied for.
  3. If the application is accepted the candidate will be offered admission to the course on the first come first serve basis.
  4. Class X pass certificate from unrecognized board will be cancelled (as per UGC guidelines).
  5. Students should be at least 16 years of age before enrolling in the course.

 

  • FEES
  1. Fee must be paid along the with the application form. Only DD,NEFT, or Online transfer is accepted.
  2. Non-refundable fee is permissible.
  3. Service Tax/GST charges, if applicable may be levied on the tuition fee.

 

  • CANCELLATION OF LECTURES
  1. Liability of the IAM in the event of particular lecture being cancelled due to reasons beyond its control is limited to rescheduling the cancelled lecture.

 

  • ATTENDANCE
  1. A minimum of 85% of the schedule lectures must be attained by a student to qualify for the examinations leading to the award satisfactory to take the next scheduled examination/resit examination at the discretion of the examination board.
  2. Students should complete the course within 02 years from the date of original enrollment.

 

  • DIPLOMA
  1. Candidates successfully passing all the prescribed written and practical examinations will be issued the diploma in hotel management. Certificates must be collected personally by the students.

 

  • CONDUCT AND DISPLINE
  1. IAM reserves the right to dismiss at any time a student whom it considers unsatisfactory for any reason. Failure to meet financial obligations may also lead to dismissal of student from the course.
  2. In all matters concerning the conduct of the course the decision of IAM shall be final and binding on all course participants.
  3. Students involved in serious misconduct or ragging activities will be expelled with immediate effect as per the guidelines of the student disciplinary procedure.

 

  • RAGGING
  1. Institute follows the U.G.C guidelines on anti ragging policy and students found guilty will be penalized as specified which may even lead to explosion the course.
  2. An affidavit has to be made by all students in compliance with the anti ragging policy of the U.G.C.
